On the Rhythm Changes Podcast, Rev. Dr. **Brian Fraser** of Brentwood Presbyterian Church talks about the church's role in our jazz community, his life before and around Brentwood, and what is next at the space including major renovation plans. When I first started the RCP, I wrote down a personal wishlist of whom I most wanted to eventually bring on as guests and Brian's was literally the first name I scribbled. There are but a few people who have honed their perspective on our scene over the decades as he has, including under his non-profit consultancy called Jazzthink – where he identifies as a *provocateur*.
