Gig list internship

Rhythm Changes is the Canadian jazz website based in Vancouver, BC, made since 2020 by me, Will Chernoff. The flagship part of the website is the gig list, a monthly webpage that is often referred to as the comprehensive source for what's happening in the Vancouver jazz scene. 

The list is used by thousands of people and contains hundreds of events per month, taking place at dozens of different venues. Its mission is to make it more fun and easier to participate in the scene that it covers.

In September 2024, I solicited applications for a gig list internship and brought on Kayla Price, a vocalist and university student. Kayla completed the 7-month paid internship from October 2024 through April 2025. The work involved gathering, editing, and updating the list.
