Gig list internship (Vancouver)

I am once again asking for help on the Vancouver gig list!

Over the coming season, I’ll be playing more shows and will also be out of town for a full month.

Rhythm Changes offered a gig list internship in 2024/25 and it went great. Kayla Price did it when she was a student at Capilano University's jazz program and has gone on to do more cool stuff in the scene since. Here's what Kayla wrote in her own words about doing that from fall 2024 to spring 2025:

“I had an awesome time learning a lot about the scope of Vancouver’s jazz scene + you’re such a pleasant person to work with and talk to! Communication was always very clear and it became really fun work to do once I got into the flow of it :)) had a great time and would do it / that kind of data entry work for rhythm changes and others again in a heart beat, it was awesome!! Also the flexible remoteness of it was a plus too :))”

• this application isn't for you unless you know what Rhythm Changes is, what I'm up to, and the other context like that. I'm not an organization, I'm one guy paying for it out of my own pocket.
• must be a person based in Canada with continued presence and interest in the music scene that RC covers. Tell me about why you’re interested!
• freelance, paid internship working online
• you will gather shows for, and update, the Vancouver gig list via this website and Google Sheets
• up to 8 hours per month at $30/h
• for 4 months (Oct. 2026 through Jan. 2027)
• option to extend by 3 months (so through Apr. 2027) if we agree to do that
