It’s June and we're starting a new list curated by David Lavoie (Calgary-based trumpet player, guitarist, composer, and friend of mine going back to our years around the CapU student scene).

The Calgary list has its own page just like the Vancouver list, which isn’t changing at all. The new list is going to reflect where David’s at, just like how Vancouver's reflects where I'm at. I'm not thinking too much about what is or isn't any genre. I try to make it more like a map of people who play and spend time together.

The Free Weekly email isn’t changing either.

The Free Weekly has a kind of curated gigs section, so in that, we can now share upcoming highlights from both Vancouver and Calgary. We’re going to keep having one Free Weekly for all folks to sign up who want to follow Rhythm Changes stories/interviews.
