Cross-Canada Tour Recap w/ Maude Fortier & Juno Hamilton
The Maude Fortier Quartet's album release tour wraps up after their drive across the country
Alto saxophonist Maude Fortier and bassist Juno Hamilton talk about touring across Canada, by car, as the Maude Fortier Quartet with August McKinney on piano and Julian Ferrer on drums. They left from Montreal in late May and went through Toronto, Hamilton, Sudbury, Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, Revelstoke, Kaslo, and Victoria. They released their debut album as a group, Echoes of Change, earlier this year.
The tour ends in Vancouver tomorrow night, June 12th, at Tyrant Studios.
