Claude Giguère: North Shore Celtic Ensemble
The North Shore Celtic Ensemble is a nonprofit youth music program, and Claude led it, as co-founder, for over 20 years.
On the Rhythm Changes Podcast, Claude Giguère talks about the North Shore Celtic Ensemble (NSCE), a violin youth group that he co-founded roughly two decades ago. I worked for the group from 2014 to 2018, and again from 2019 until covid, and often refer to my early years with them as my version of a university degree. With Claude as a boss and mentor, I had a welcoming place to learn about life and music while making foundational friendships for my young career. I'll always be grateful for Claude and NSCE and consider them musical family.
