Curtis Nowosad talks about being a father, ADHD, fighting perfectionism and self-criticism, and putting together a lyrical statement for the first time. The Winnipeg-raised, NYC-based drummer's new album I Am Doing My Best came out on June 6, 2025. Joey Landreth and Joanna Majoko sing on the record, which takes turns between instrumentals and songs. Nowosad told me that it's "music for healing in an increasingly demanding world".
