Dawn Pemberton talks about her recent collaborations with Seamus Blake, Mary Ancheta's MAQkestra playing the music of Betty Davis, and the Ostara Project; plus her work as a bandleader, where she has a new recording project on the way. Dawn is a vocalist born and raised in Vancouver. She performs widely in Canada, is a radio host on CKUA for her current show Get On the Good Foot, and directs the Roots 'N' Wings Choir among other educational initiatives. This season is always a busy one for Dawn via her work with groups like O Come All Ye Soulful and with Mosely as we'll hear in Port Moody.
