Gentiane MG talks about her fourth album Can You Hear the Birds? and how her new aesthetic on this project is channeling themes from her life into the imaginations of others. Gentiane is a pianist originally from Saguenay, Quebec. She records in a trio with longstanding member Levi Dover on bass as well as Mark Nelson on drums for this new album. Gentiane previously appeared on the Rhythm Changes Podcast in episode 66, when she released her Juno-nominated 2022 album Walls Made of Glass.
